Interests
SNOW
Started snowboarding in my late teens and have never looked back. I have a great passion for the snow and have skied in many resorts in Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe as well as Japan. I also have worked in the ski resorts of Chamonix and Lake Tahoe in my younger years. I have mainly been snowboarding for over a decade but I have developed a keen interest in skiing more recently. My top five places to visit within the next five years are Jackson Hole Wyoming, Aspen Colorado, Heli Skiing somewhere in Alaska, Yongpyong Resort South Korea and Val d’lsere France. My favorite resorts so far have been Whistler Canada, North Star Lake Tahoe and St Anton Austria.
travel
Always had a keen interest in travel from an early age. Got the bug from Mum and Dad who were avid travellers throughout Europe when Dad was working in Italy. My highlights have been travelling around Australia for a year with my brother in an old Ford Falcon station wagon at 19, living and working overseas in the UK and Europe for over 4 years and just recently travelling coast to coast (Vancouver to St Johns) in Canada. Scandinavia, South America and Eastern Europe are next on my bucket list.
classic cars
At a young age I enjoyed tinkering with cars with my Dad and have developed a passion for classics cars. My favorite TV show of all time is ‘Wheeler Dealers’ which is a program where the presenters buy secondhand cars, restore them and sell them on for hopefully a profit. My ultimate car would be a old Porsche 911 re-imagined by Singer Vehicle Design in Los Angeles but I would love to restore one myself. I would also like to build a beach buggy based on a old 1960’s Volkswagen Beetle.
